Along the way, we’ll see highlights such as the Palm House, a historic greenhouse filled with exotic plants, and the ornamental Minaret, an unusual yet striking 60-meter-high tower offering panoramic views over the estate. The grounds also feature graceful bridges, sculptures, and hidden garden pavilions, adding to the fairy-tale atmosphere.

About Lednice Palace
The Lednice Palace and Gardens, as we see them today, were redesigned in the 19th century as a luxurious summer retreat for the aristocrats. The palace itself is considered one of the finest examples of English Gothic architecture on the European continent, with its ornate towers, intricate stone carvings, and grand interiors.
The Liechtenstein family, one of the richest aristocratic families in Central Europe, owned vast lands in the region. Over centuries, they expanded their holdings through wars, strategic marriages, and purchases. Their loyalty to the Habsburg dynasty brought them great influence within the Austro-Hungarian Empire, allowing them to create one of the most magnificent palace complexes in the country.
The palace itself is a masterpiece of Neo-Gothic architecture, with elegant spires, intricate carvings, and grand halls. What we'll do
We’ll visit Bratislava Old Town that is famous for its medieval buildings, narrow streets, and little courtyards. You’ll learn about the history of the region as we wander around the city centre. We will also admire the beautiful castle of Bratislava that towers over the whole Old Town. The castle was rebuilt in the 20th century and reminds us of the importance of this city throughout history.
In Bratislava you will also have time for a lunch break (not included).
About Bratislava
Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia with a population of about 475 000 people. The location of Bratislava has been inhabited continuously for almost 7000 years. The city is situated on the Danube River that has brought people, wealth, and trade to the area. For a long time Bratislava was part of the Kingdom of Hungary. It is under the 18th-century reign of Queen Maria Theresa that the city truly flourished. After the First World War Bratislava became part of Czechoslovakia and the population of Czechs and Slovaks in the city grew. The city became the capital of Slovakia after the Velvet Divorce in 1993 when Slovak Republic separated from the Czech Republic.

About Györ
Győr is one of Hungary’s most important cities, known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning architecture. Home to around 130,000 residents, it sits strategically on the banks of the Danube River, a lifeline that has brought trade, wealth, and diverse influences to the region for centuries.
The city experienced a golden age in the 18th century, when it flourished economically, leading to the construction of its elegant Baroque Old Town, which still enchants visitors today. Though Győr suffered significant damage during World War II, extensive renovations since the 1970s have restored its historic charm, making it one of Hungary’s most beautifully preserved cities.
With its grand squares, ornate churches, and a rich past woven into every street, Győr stands as a testament to resilience and renewal—a city where history and modern life harmoniously coexist.
