Door to door service is the way to go.

My wife and I booked a Sidetrip transfer from Prague to Vienna via Cesky Krumlov. Our guide Filip picked us up at our hotel at the designated time. He showed us all around the beautiful town of Cesky Krumlov. He was knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure we loved our trip. He couldn't have been more pleasant and seemed to enjoy the day as much as us. After a great day he dropped us off at the door to our hotel in Vienna. It's a memorable experience I would highly recommend.

    What we'll do

During the tour we take a walk through the stunning Old Town of Český Krumlov. The narrow streets flanked by Renaissance style houses will take you back in time. The castle towering over the small town only adds to the fairytale-feel of Český Krumlov. We will also walk the grounds of the medieval castle and enjoy the views to the surrounding area from the top of the hill. The castle is famous not only for its own beauty and lovely gardens but also for bears that live in the moat. There will be time for a lunch stop in Český Krumlov (not included).

    About Český Krumlov

Český Krumlov town grows in medieval times around the castle. The castle was built on a strategic hill by the bend of the Vltava River where it controlled the fording of the river. Naturally this promoted trade and the city grew rich. The castle has been rebuilt several times through the centuries in the same location. Today you can follow the different architectural styles mixing together to form a unique complex. Until the 20th century Český Krumlov had a mostly German population. This changed after the Second World War, the German population was expelled and replaced by Czechs. Today the town has a population of 13 000 people.

Will never take the train again!

This tour was amazing. From the hotel to hotel service to the personalized day where we could roam where we wished and customize things to our interest. Our guide Petra was so knowledgeable about the region and was able to make great recommendations based on our personal interests. Would definitely do this again and we regretted that we had not booked for our next transfer!

Our family of 5 totally enjoyed the trip with our driver and guide Sarka, who not only took us safely to our destination right on time, but also provided us with a lovely tour around the town of Cesky Krumlov. Highly recommended if you would like to travel worry-free with kids.
