The best day of our vacation.

We loved the Sidetrip tour from Prague to Vienna. Ours was a private tour for a family of four. Our driver and guide, Vera, was friendly and knowledgeable. She answered dozens of questions, recommended lunch options and allowed for a flexibility schedule. The large van had plenty of room and was reasonably comfortable. We will take another Sidetrip during our next European holiday.

Situated beneath the Cemetery Church of All Saints in the small town of Kutná Hora, this ossuary is renowned for its striking and macabre decorations made entirely of human bones. The ossuary's origins date back to the 13th century when the church was built atop a cemetery. In the 15th century, the bones were exhumed and later arranged in intricate designs by a local woodcarver, František Rint, in the 18th century. The Ossuary in Kutná Hora serves as a poignant reminder of the transient nature of life and the universality of mortality, while also showcasing the creativity and artistry of human craftsmanship across the centuries. Highlight of the Trip

Our Sidetrip with Filip was one of the main highlights of the entire trip! He was very accommodating and was able to adjust our schedule to account for some unexpected traffic, and still managed to find one of the best meals I've ever eaten in my life! The whole time, he answered our questions about the history of the area, what life was like growing up in Slovakia, and anything else that came to mind. I can't recommend Sidetrip, and specifically Filip, enough!

Fantastic Way to Travel!

What a great way to go from city to city! One of my friends recommended Sidetrip Tours and we weren't disappointed. Martina was an excellent guide as she was very friendly and accommodating. Since we didn't have a full van, we altered the itinerary a bit to make it even a better trip. I'm definitely going to recommend this way of travel as it's better than taking a train or bus. We loved going to the little towns.

A Highlight Of Our Trip!

The Prague to Vienna transfer is such a unique way to get between the two cities! While there are trains, you miss out on the interesting stops along the way that are definitely worth seeing. Kutna Hora is a nice change of pace from Prague, but still has a lot to offer. Mikulov and Lednice are both beautiful, especially in the evening. The highlight of this tour was our guide, Martin, though! He was incredibly personable, informative, and has a great sense of humor. It felt like traveling with a friend. He offered a great deal of insight into each place we stopped along, was flexible, and got us around safely as well. I would absolutely recommend this transfer if you're headed to Vienna and hope you're lucky enough to have Martin as your guide!
